Stormy Seaside

Image
What a perfect day at the beach ♥. The wind was gusty as it always is by the seaside in Northern California (even in the summer!), but it was kindly blowing away the BIG storm from last night leaving only crisp, clean air and beautiful puffy clouds for us to gaze at. A few drops of rain here and there only added to the mysterious atmosphere of the stormy sky. One of the most wonderful things about a stormy day at the shore is seeing the storm sweeping in from the sea and suddenly it's on top of you, and before you know it you are watching it trail away into the distance.

A New Beginning

"Feast of the waxing light, restore our hope!" Today is the first day of Imbolc, marking the halfway point between the winter solstice and the vernal equinox. In the sky tonight the four stars of Corvus the Crow are visible beneath the waning moon. It feels like a day of repair, healing and getting back on track-but not quite there yet. Seeing the sea this coming weekend will bring a much needed connection to nature and the underwater world.
