April’s Full Moon ✨🌝✨ PINK MOON

April means SPRINGTIME! - and the Full Moon in April is called the FULL PINK MOON because flowers are blooming, letting us know Spring is finally here! 🌸 When I think of pink flowers I think of roses or peonies, but the Full Pink Moon is actually named after Creeping Phlox (sounds like a Dr. Seuss character!), which is a wildflower found in North America and blooms like crazy all over the ground in early spring.

To me, The Creeping Phlox looks more fuchsia than pale pink, but I love the name Pink Moon 

so I keep those thoughts to myself!

This year, 2021, the Full Pink Moon will be on April 26th AND….IT WILL BE A SUPERMOON!  The first of two supermoons this year! Time to set your intentions for the year and go for a moonlit walk!

TAKING CARE OF YOUR HANDMADE TAROT CARDS ☾⭐︎

  I started making these tarot cards around 8 years ago, and I still have the first few decks I made and they are in perfect condition, even though I use them all the time! Here are a few ways you can keep your deck looking perfect too!  ☾⭐︎ WARPS OR BENDING FROM HUMIDITY  Even though my cards are VERY thick, if you live in a humid area or your cards are left outside overnight, they may warp a little. Luckily that is easily solved!  Stack your deck at least 6-8 cards high and place them on a flat surface.  ☾⭐︎ Place several heavy books on top of them and leave for several hours or, even better, overnight.  ☾⭐︎ The next day they will be flat again! ☾⭐︎ SHUFFLING YOUR HANDMADE DECK: Since the cards I make are unfinished (not slippery) and very thick, it is best NOT to use a Riffle Shuffle with them because they do not bend easily and they could be damaged. Creating a Goddess Space

Creating magick is a wonder of the natural world ❤ and it is important to have a special space of your own where you can feel calm, connect to yourself, and work your magick. This space is often called an ALTER SPACE, but some people are afraid of or uncomfortable with that term because it conjures up ideas of religion or a God, so I like to use the term GODDESS SPACE. The idea of THE GODDESS, for me, is an expression of spiritual power, which is the perfect idea behind your space. CREATING A GODDESS SPACE This space is for you and your magickal things.
